Over 100 motorcyclists have attacked Same Global Estate in the Lokogoma area of Abuja to avenge the death of two colleagues. The incident happened after a motorist reportedly hit the Okda riders on Sunday and ran into the estate for safety. The Okada riders set fire to two buildings in the estate. Residents of the estate told our correspondent that the motorcyclists attacked the estate in their bid to apprehend an unknown motorist. The operatives of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) today arrested the former Governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha. They broke into his Maitama, Abuja residence after laying siege to it for nine hours. After sporadic shooting to disperse a crowd supporters who came to show their solidarity, they were able to pick him up. Gunmen have killed at least 12 people, including a pregnant woman and her four children in Anambra State, the BBC reported on Tuesday. The State Governor, Charles Soludo and the police have reacted to the killings but did not specify the number of persons killed. A community leader told the BBC that the pregnant woman and her children were returning home on a motorcycle taxi when gunmen ambushed them in the Orumba area of the state.
