The immediate past Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
According to reports, he was nabbed at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos, while on his way to the United States.
Obiano, who has been on the agency’s watchlist, was arrested at about 8.30pm, according to Channels TV.
