BREAKING: EFCC Releases Ex-Anambra Gov, Obiano, Wife

The immediate-past governor of Anambra state, Willie Obiano, and his wife, Ebelechukwu Obiano, has been released from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) detention

Willie Obiano after he completed his two-term tenure of eight years, spent his first night as the former Governor of Anambra State in the custody of the EFCC.

The former governor who had been on the Commission’s watchlist was arrested at the Murtala Mohammad International Airport Lagos at about 8.30pm as he prepared to board a flight to Houston, USA.
