Former President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, arrived in Seoul, South Korea, this afternoon to participate in the World Summit 2025, scheduled to commence tomorrow. The event will also feature the formal presentation ceremony of the prestigious 2025 Sunhak Peace Prize.
Dr. Jonathan expressed his appreciation to the Government of the Republic of Korea, officials of the Nigerian Embassy in Seoul, the Sunhak Peace Foundation, and the Universal Peace Federation (UPF)—organisers of the summit—for their warm reception and generous courtesies extended upon his arrival.
The World Summit 2025 brings together global leaders, diplomats, peace advocates, and development experts to engage in dialogue and action toward global peace, sustainable development, and mutual prosperity.
The Sunhak Peace Prize is awarded to individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the promotion of peace and human development.
