Too much of spirituality is ruining fellowship amongst couples…
Award winning Movie Director and Producer, Dr. Bakia Tabi Thomas has taken to his Facebook wall to address issues some Christians are facing in their marriages.
According to his post, God can never be the husband to your wife while you’re alive…
He said “A Pastor confided in me in 2020 about his marriage and that was because he found out he was losing affection for his wife and he didn’t know why.”
“Being that he was a Pastor, I avoided talking to him in my house because of distraction, I drove him to a garden and we sat down, got some soft drinks then we started talking.”
“While we were talking, he turned and said to me “I like the air here, it looks calm and relaxing”.
“Then in the middle of our discussion, he saw a lady riding a horse with a man, supposedly the husband and he laughed so hard.”
“What got him laughing was the fear in the woman’s face and he then said to me, ” I think my wife will love this, I can’t wait to laugh while she is screaming out of fear.”
“The more we talked, I realize he was beginning to find answers to the questions in his heart. He said to me that he has been so buried with Church that he forgot he had a responsibility to his wife.”
“The problem why it seems like many Christian marriages are falling apart is because we have substituted responsibility for spirituality.”
“God can never be the husband to your wife while you’re alive. He can only be the husband to your wife when you’re in the grave.”
“That’s why He is called the husband to the widows. ”
“You might have to learn to close the Bible sometimes and open your wife’s legs. There are scriptures buried in there that you need to read always sir.”
“Revelations that will change your life.”
“Too much of spirituality is ruining fellowship amongst couples.”
“There is nothing wrong with your wife’s character Sir, a woman who is starved of sex and affection is likely going to be grumpy.”
“You cannot be casting out demons and even spiritual husbands from people and something as little as handling your wife’s sexual urge, you’re speaking in tongues.”
“May God help believers to have a better understanding of marital responsibilities.”
